Welcome to my blog, my friends!!

After being abandoned for years, my blog is eventually set up. Thanks to the new templates, it is so much easier to arrange my blog the way I want to a much more acceptable degree. Well, now it may not be exactly the best, but I am sure it will definitely be better and I shall be more willing to spend more time and efforts here.

South Crossing Highway, 2012

Just took a round trip to Taidong in two days!!! Crazy and crazily tiring!, especially I alone drove both ways!! Too bad we could not stayed longer owing to the coming typhoon Saola.

This was taken on the first day trip to the east and as you can see, the clouds, the sky, the trees were just perfect; sadly, it did not last for too long and the weather started to get worse when getting closer to Taidong!!

YES! I am still indulging myself with portraits, especially night shots!!!

The first time shooting Bella, the most beautiful girl in American School.

Too bad there was not not enough time and it was not at all a good setting for shooting. She was caught by on her way out home.

Nanwan at Dusk 暮落枋山

I really have to go farther down south to Nanwan the next time. It is funny that I have visited there less than five times - the only reason is that Fangshan always changes my on the way there.

I really have to keep my eyes on the road when passing Fangshan Coast.

Sundance Fangshan 日耀枋山

Sunlight dances on the foaming crashing waves on Fangshan beach. Yes, this is not a typical fantastic day and the beach has shifted a lot recently yet somehow I am content to have captured quite a few images like this on that day...

I should be grateful at all times as long as I can still wander about and capture all kinds of beauties of nature.

Taiwan Literature Museum 台灣文學館

We spent four and a half hours in Taiwan Literature Museum and did not at all notice that so much time had passed till we got out of the museum. What joy it was shooting in a beautiful place like that!!

I am proud and pleased to have a international-class museum in Tainan.

Too bad there were not too many lights on for it was closing time.

As I have said, I am expanding my shooting genres into a field I used to think that I would never even dabble in - human portraits!

So please be kindly and patiently expecting my works on portraits!! They will be exactly the way I want them to be eventually, and of course, before long!!

Fire Ring over Four Weeds

The fiery clouds over the bridge form a beautiful circular shape but it was a shame that the tidal pool was not large enough to reflect it fully. Still it was one of the rarest occasions that have really excited me this year.

My new adventure - portraits!!

After being seriously struck by some great portrait photographers in Taiwan, I find it irresistibly fascinating and challenging to capture people to a unique and artistic level!!! I am NOT talking about shooting hired models but real people in my life, with natural light!

Wild Four Weeds Beach 四草怒海, 2012 3

Four Weeds Beach, aka Shicao Beach, on a formidable leaden evening with awesome clouds overcasting the sea and in the distance on the horizon two fishing boats vaguely appear.

I used to spend hours every time I went to the beach standing in the sea water capturing waves and clouds and sky and everything that was there happening before me. Kind of crazy, I know! Yet this really helped a lot then.

Burning Four Weeds 燃燒四草

The sand ripples really amazed me a lot because I had never expected to see them i Four Weeds.

Fangshan at Twilight 迷離枋山, 2012 5

Well, it was not at all the kind of view I had expected but this is what I managed to capture today!! That stretch of dark cloud was the only cloud there was in the sky today!! What was worse is that the entire beach seemed to have been hit by a tsunami - it was completely a disaster!!

Oh, I dropped and broke my flashlight on the way back to the car and then when I reached my car, I found one of the control handles of Manfrotto 3D Super-Pro Head fell off somewhere on the beach. Yet since I broke my flashlight too, plus it was bleach dark then, I gave up the idea of going back to search for the handle.
